Hello Patton Community, It's so hard to believe that there are only six days of school left! This week was filled with activities at Patton and next week looks to be just as exciting. We hope you have an amazing weekend and we look forward to seeing your children on Tuesday. The Lion King, Jr. To say that I was impressed by the fifth graders at Patton would be an understatement as they put on one of the most amazing performances that I have ever seen in a school. Not only did they perform at a high caliber, but one of the most amazing parts of the show was that the students ran everything aspect of the program. Lights, sound, stage crew, drummers, chorus members, actors, etc., were all student run. To hear some of the students share that this was the highlight of their year was truly the icing on the cake. As it was written in the playbill, we hope that this experience has create a memory that will last a lifetime. While students played the most obvious roles in the performance, I also want to acknowledge the parents who were on committees or were committee chairs who really rallied to help pull off the details of the show. From costumes to make up to tickets to decorations and everything in between, this would not have been possible without the help and support of the community. Your support and assistance in helping this be a success will always be remembered and deeply appreciated. Thank you so much for all of your help! For those interested in seeing all of the pictures from the performance, you can find them all by clicking here.
The Rope Warrior A big thank you to the PTA Cultural Arts Committee for providing us with the Rope Warrior Assembly. The Rope Warrior was able to show off some of his amazing tricks and even had students participating in tricks as well. We are truly blessed to have a supportive PTA here at Patton!
