Walkathon
Thank you to all who participated and contributed financially to Make a Wish for our Walkathon. We had over 300 students participating in the walk even though the weather was not so friendly. We had many local celebrities come out to join us. This is such a phenomenal event and I am so proud of our students and our community.
Pie In The Face
We set a new record raising $1,700 just for the Pie In The Face challenge. Thank you to all who contributed to such an amazing organization!

FLYERS
Hello Patton Community,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Below are your weekend updates. Please refer to the PTA page for their updates as well as they have a lot of information important to the community as well.
Rocket Club
Something that I am really proud of at Patton is the amount of club offerings we provide our students. I had the opportunity to spend time with the Patton Rocket Club this week as we launched over 60 rockets. In a way, it almost becomes a small community event as there were so many families members that came out for the launch. Below is a video that Mrs. Melamed put together to document the occasion. Enjoy...
Now that the weather has warmed up..
More parents are walking to school to pick up their children. Many families have furry friends who also like to come to school with mom or dad to join in picking up the students. As much as we love our dogs, they need to stay home as family dogs are not supposed to be on school property. No School - Friday May 22 Just a friendly reminder that there is no school on Friday, May 22 as it is a school improvement day. Patton Class Placement Parent Feedback for 2015-16 This is a repeat from last week's weekend update. Below you will find a form that you can fill out should you like to provide the school with any information you feel would be important as well consider placement for your child. The vast majority of parents tend to not fill out this form, but we still wanted to make it available to anyone interested. Additionally, please know that the placement process for all of the Patton students is extensive and well thought out. To that end, it is important to understand that requests for a specific teacher will not be considered, as allowing parents to request teachers puts a significant strain on an already extensive process. All staff members are committed to providing the best education for your children. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Completed forms are due to the Patton Office by Thursday, May 21

Volunteer Appreciation
Below is a video created by Mrs. Sobanski's class thanking all of the volunteers of Patton for their dedication and care for our students and school. Thank you to all of our volunteers. We genuinely appreciate all that you do for us.
