Winter MAP Testing
The Winter MAP Testing Window opens on January 4th and closes on January 22nd. Several groups of students will be tested, as outlined on the District 25 Assessment Calendar. The groups are listed below.
We look forward to celebrating the growth of our students once we receive and review the scores at the end of January!
Erin's Law Information
The district has posted several resources on the Student Services website, which can be found here. Detailed on this site are the resources including books and videos that are being used for the various grade levels. If you have not done so, I would encourage you to review the material that is shared on this site so you have a clear understanding of what will be presented to your children. Would you like to be a reporter for the Patton Press in 2016?!

PATTON FAMILY CODING 2015-16To those who were able to join us for a night of code as a family we hope you had a wonderful time. We really strive to come up with activities that engage the community and bring us together. We hope this was a great experience for everyone! PATTON FAMILY STEAM NIGHT - JANUARY 2016 This is a reminder about our upcoming Family STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) Night on January 21, 2016 at 6:30 pm. Please RSVP using this form if you are planning on joining us. Below is a video highlighting activities that we did as a Patton staff to test out some activities. A Note From Your Nurses Patton students may not take any medications--including over the counter items such as cough drops or ibuprofen--without a District authorization form. The form, which you can get here, must be signed by both a parent and physician and provided to the nurse's office; the signed form can be scanned and emailed to the office or faxed to 847-394-6681. All medications must be kept in the nurse's office. For a temporary condition (such as a headache), a parent may come to the office and administer the medication themselves.
Children's Book Drive Challenge! Patton's Social Service Club is sponsoring a used book drive for Bernie's Book Bank. Bernie's packages books for children in the Chicago area who need books but have none at home. Used books (in good condition) from birth to 6th grade are welcome! You may send them in from December 1 - 18. The club is challenging each Patton student to find at least one book to bring in and donate to a needy child. Thank you! FLYERS
Hello Patton Families,
At Patton we will be hosting our first Family STEAM Night on Thursday, January 21, 2016, at 6:30 pm. This will be an evening where parents and students can come together to work on different STEAM activities. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The Patton staff participated in some STEAM related activities earlier in the year and had a blast! We have a team of 12 staff members and a Patton student to help plan the event.
