Attention PM Kindergarten Families:
This is a reminder that on 6/7 we are having Spirit Day. All PM kindergarten students are invited to participate in this all school event. There will be NO pm kindergarten on this day. We truly hope all students will be able to participate!
Bikes on the Blacktop
Please remind your students there is to be no bike riding on the Patton blacktop at any time. We have had several near-misses recently and this could lead to a serious injury. Adults and children need to be walk bikes when crossing the blacktop. Thanks so much for your assistance.

THANK YOU PATTON PTA!
Thank you to the PTA for all that was done for Teacher Appreciation Week. Particular thanks goes out to Mrs. Gradek, Mrs. Skinger, Mrs. Klehr, and Mrs. Notaro. Teachers and staff felt honored and appreciated throughout the week with the baseball theme. Thank you for all that you did for us this week!
Food Allergy Awareness Week
Monday kicks off the first day of Food Allergy Awareness Week. Students are encouraged to wear teal colored shirts in support of their friends with Food Allergies. Be on the lookout on social media for information about food allergies, and tips for how to keep others safe. Our goal is always to keep kids as safe as possible, and understanding the significance and the severity of food allergies will help us keep our food allergic friends safe.
Rocket Lab
The Rocket Lab had an opportunity to launch their rockets this past Tuesday. This club, designed for fourth and fifth grade students continues to be a student and community favorite. Check out the video below!
2017-18 Registration
On May 1st, emails were sent to all Patton parents with a link to register for the 2017-18 school year. To completely register your child--and get him or her placed into a classroom--you need to:
Project Linus
The Social Service Club is sponsoring a Linus Project Day on Friday May 19 from 3:35-5 pm. We hope families will join us to make a simple tied fleece blanket to be distributed by Project Linus to children who are ill or traumatized in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or wherever a child might be in need of a big hug. Bring some fleece if you can, but either way join us for a worthwhile fun afternoon! To sign up, click here.
Operation Gratitude
If you can, please donate one or two of your Beanies or Webkinz - in good condition! - to make a member of our Armed Services smile. Please see the video below.

Within every teacher's classroom is a significant amount of confidential information and because of that, classrooms will be locked at the end of the day. The front office is open until 4:00 and families will not be permitted access to classrooms after this time. If it is before 4:00, you must stop check in with the office prior to going to your child's classroom. If you are in CAP, you should not be going into your child's classroom when you pick up your child. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Patton Press - Come and Get It! The final 2016-17 issue of the student-produced Patton Press newspaper is now available online. For this issue, students reported on author Peter Brown's visit, Patton's Global Day of Design, our 3rd and 4th grade musicals, book reviews, original poems, and much more! Just click here.
