St. Peter has shown themselves to be an amazing partner and we are very grateful for their help and support. Thank you Traffic Team The Patton traffic team deserves high praise for all of their efforts. This parent volunteer group are dedicated and no sub-zero weather will prevent them from serving. To the traffic team, thank you so very much for the work you do to keep our students safe on a daily basis... and with a smile no less! *As a reminder, please be respectful of our neighbors and do not block driveways. We have received some feedback that some driveways are being blocked. Additionally, be mindful of "no parking" signs along various roads. Lastly, a friendly reminder the back parking lot (the north lot behind the school) is not a pick up zone and children should be picked up in their dedicated locations. Thank you all for your cooperation in making pickup and drop off a success. Kindergarten Registration It is that time of year again! The 5Essentials system is based on more than 20 years of research by the University of Chicago Consortium on Chicago School Research on five components found to be critical for school success: Effective Leaders: The principal works with teachers to implement a clear and strategic vision for school success. Collaborative Teachers: Teachers collaborate to promote professional growth. Involved Families: The entire school staff builds strong relationships with families and communities to support learning. Supportive Environment: The school is safe and orderly. Teachers have high expectations for students and support students to realize their goals. Classmates also support one another. Ambitious Instruction: Classes are academically demanding and engage students by emphasizing the application of knowledge. Please consider completing a parent survey to provide us more information on the 5Essentials and how we can continue to improve serving the Patton community. The parent survey is available in English and Spanish and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. To complete the parent survey, please visit https://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/ and select Parent survey.
