Lunch Information With Step 4 beginning tomorrow we wanted to share an update about some of our process. Below you will see our lunch schedule. Some classes will be eating in classrooms and others will be eating in the Gym or Commons. Additionally, our recess zones will need to be adjusted tomorrow as well. The classrooms that will be in the field and should bring their snow gear include: Vincent, Johnson, Heisler, Cowen, Jedd, and Levin. Classrooms will continue to be assigned to zones for the lunch recess time. (Individual classrooms may choose to go outside for recess beyond lunch recess and will be allowed to go in the snow provided the student has the proper gear.) Social Distancing & Quarantining We have removed non-essential furniture from classrooms so that students can be spaced apart as much as possible. Social-distancing in each classroom varies based on the number of students participating in-person. In-person class sizes range from 10-22 students. Many in-person students may be seated less than 6 feet from one another during their school day given the number of students in various classrooms. We will continue to employ all of our mitigation strategies to help ensure a safe environment as we did during Step 3. With more students in the building, and the likelihood of more students being in close contact there is an increased possibility that a student or group of students may need to quarantine. Again we will do all we can to help minimize this. Families can help by continuing to self-certify on a daily basis and follow the recommended guidance from our health department as it pertains to travel. Drop off and Pick Up Information Our drop off and pick up procedures will remain the same. Given the fact that we are having more families pick up, please be patient when picking up students by vehicle. Also, please be mindful of our neighbors and not park in front of anyone's driveway as you wait to enter the main drive. The traffic team will continue to support a safe drop and pick up. If you have family members who are new to the drop off and pick up procedures, please feel free to share this information with them. Drop Off Graphic Pick Up Graphic
