Doctor's Note Needed to Stay Inside
All children well enough to come to school are expected to participate in outdoor play as well as gym class. The only exception is a note from a doctor indicating
1) a diagnosed reason to limit fresh air playtime and 2) a prescribed length
of time the child needs to remain indoors. We will not honor parent requests.
Conversely, students who do not attend school due to illness will not be allowed to participate in any after school activities.

Valentines Day Parties - February 14
Valentines parties are scheduled to begin at approximately 2:30pm on Thursday, February 14. Room reps should double check with their classroom teachers to verify the start time as there may be a few exceptions. If your child is passing out Valentines cards to other students, the cards cannot have any candy or food attached to them. Trinkets such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc., are great alternatives as long as they are not edible. Items such as goodie bags filled with treats or candy are also not permitted.
PRO-Kids is coming back to Patton, and Tim Hannig will be performing for our students on January 24 in the afternoon. There will be a family night, on January 24 at 6:30pm where parents and kids can come together at Thomas Middle School for an evening show. We had a wonderful time last year, and we hope all families can attend! More information will be coming home on the day of the assembly!
