It looks like we had about 400 people in the building for the event. We hope that the time spent with families was valuable and that you found inspiration in some of the activities. For a link to some pictures, please click here. Kindness in the Streets As we continue our kindness campaign with out students, we ask that families and caregivers show kindness when picking up children after school. An easy way to do this is to show patience through the pick up and drop off line, remaining off your phone while on school grounds, and by keeping our neighbors driveways clear by not blocking them in the street. Your kindness is appreciated! Attention 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Families!! The PARCC Assessment window opens on Tuesday, March 6th and extends through Wednesday, March 21st. Students in grades 3-5 will be tested in English/Language Arts and Math. For the assessments, headphones are needed. Please send in headphones for your child to be kept at school until testing ends. Make sure they are labeled with your child's name. Students are encouraged to bring them in as soon as possible so that all are prepared for the first day of testing. Thank you for your support!
Project Linus Event The Social Service Club is sponsoring a Linus Project Day on Friday, March 9th from 3:35-5:30PM. We hope families will join us to make a simple tied fleece blanket that will be distributed by a local Project Linus to children who are ill or traumatized in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need of a big hug. If you are able to join, please sign and return the form that was sent home today, or print out the form at right. Bring some fleece if you can, but either way join us for a worthwhile and fun afternoon!
Lost & Found Overflowing If your child is missing a water bottle, boots, a lunch box, or piece of clothing, please check out the lost and found.
