Did You Travel Over Break? The health department recommends a 14 day quarantine period for anyone who traveled outside of Suburban Cook County. Given this health guidance, we do ask that families please follow the recommended guidelines set out by the health department. It is important that we all look out for one another and keep our students and staff safe. If you do need to quarantine, please inform the office through our absence form or simply give us a call. Thank you! Are You In Need? The cold weather is upon us! Please reach out to me (my voicemail and email are both confidential), if your child(ren) are in need of winter boots, coats, and/or gloves. If your family is experiencing other needs at this time, please let me know. I would be happy to help look for community resources. Just a couple suggestions: don't forget to watch the weather and have the children dress accordingly, and please label all removable clothing items. Help Needed For anyone interested in being a lunch supervisor, substitute teacher, and more, please see the flyer below. There are numerous needs across District 25 where assistance is needed. From Mrs. Donahue: Why our Family Dynamics Have Changed
This article by 'Confident Parents Confident Kids' helps us understand the details about why our family's group dynamics have changed. Each member of the family is unique and important. The dynamic within the family and each member's role has been established (and of course evolves as time goes by). A global pandemic such as COVID-19 threw your family, all families for that matter, off which then resulted in each member needing to re-identify themselves within the family group.
