Kindergarten and 1st Grade Registration Underway If you have a child you plan to enroll into Kindergarten or 1st grade at Patton for the first time for the next school year, pre-registration has started! If you know of someone with a kindergarten or 1st grade-aged child, please feel free to let them know to check out the District's website (sd25.org) or give us a call. Thank you! Please note: Registration for current Patton students will begin in the spring. You will receive an email in early May with a registration link. There is nothing you need to do at this time. In Person Learners In-person learners are expected at school every day, Tuesday - Friday, unless they are sick or needing to quarantine. This allows all of our students to receive the highest level of continuity and quality of instruction. Students who are quarantining or sick but well enough to participate, may participate remotely. Parents may complete the online attendance form or call the school office at 847-398-4288. We appreciate you helping to keep our students and staff safe and healthy! It makes a positive impact on the entire class as well as our teachers when ALL Patton families who selected in-person comply with these expectations. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation! Masks - Parents and Caregivers Thank you to all of our parents for wearing a mask when on school property during pick up and drop off. If you have a family member or caregiver who picks up or drops off your child, please be sure to share with them that they are required to wear their mask when they are outside on our campus. Thank you in advance for helping everyone stay healthy and safe. 5 Essentials Survey for Parents It’s that time of year again and we want your input about Patton Elementary School! Please participate in the Illinois 5Essentials Parent Survey, as a part of the Illinois 5Essentials Survey administration. The survey responses are anonymous and will never be connected to the identity of you or your child, as school reports will only present aggregated information of how parents responded as a whole. In order for the survey report to be generated we need at least 20 percent of our parents to take the survey. Please CLICK HERE to take the parent survey that began on February 3, 2021. The 5Essentials Survey is open through April 2, 2021. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact 5Essentials Customer Support at 1-866-440-1874 or [email protected]. (Do not send money to school.) In-Person Students School pictures are scheduled with Color Portraits on February 23 and 24. Remote Students Remote students will have an opportunity to schedule school pictures on Monday, March 1. As we approach the date, a sign up will be sent to remote families to select a time to enter the building to have their picture taken between 8:00-10:00 am. Color Portraits has a strict safety process that they have developed throughout the school year to help all families and staff members feel safe during picture day. Below includes some of their safety standards: · Everyone is masked · Hand sanitizer is available at the photo station · Staff keep a 6 feet distance · Children stand instead of sitting on a stool (unless needed) · Name cards are dropped into a box and not handed off · No paper order forms

Meet Patton's PE Student Teacher
My name is Paul Johanssen. I am completing my final semester at NEIU. This spring I will receive my teaching certificate for K-12 Physical Education. I am currently student teaching at Patton under the supervision of Mr. Dolniak. Patton and District 25 believe in the importance of building and maintaining fitness. I am thrilled to have gotten such a wonderful opportunity and placement. Mr. Dolniak and I work together to create a positive experience each day. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I am proud to have grown up and live in the community. I am married and have two children who attend District 25 schools. I look forward to working with all the students at Patton and watching them continue to learn and grow!
Pick Up Information
If you are picking up your child at the end of the school day, we ask that as you wait in line along various nearby streets prior to entering Patton's main drive that you please refrain from blocking our neighbors' driveways. Thank you for your understanding and assistance!
