I hope your children had a wonderful first two days back at school. It is so exciting when students enter the school for the first time, because it is their energy and excitement that really breathes life into the building. I had a blast with your kids as they were coming to line up in the morning on Thursday. Who knew that a selfie stick would be so exciting?! There were so many great pictures, it was impossible to choose, but I had to share a few! It really is a joy to be a Panther.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Below are some updates for you. The PTA will post updates as well and when those go out, they can be found by clicking on the PTA tab up above.
Curriculum Night Overview
We hope all of you can attend our Curriculum Night on Wednesday, September 2, where you will have an opportunity to meet your child's teacher and learn about what to expect in the various grade levels. The Specials teachers (Art, Music, and, PE) want to extend an opportunity for you to come in and meet them as well. Below you will find the schedule that aligns with your child's grade level. While we love seeing our students all day, this event is reserved just for the parents.
Mrs. Melamed and our Panther volunteers worked really hard this summer to make the library more student friendly. Check it out below!
Back to School Video
If you didn't see the video on our website or social media, please check it out below. It is so great to see so many happy and smiling faces!
Back to School Bash
The PTA is sponsoring the Back to School Bash next Friday, September 4 at 6:00 pm. It's a great time to come out and connect with other Patton families and just enjoy spending time with each other. Thank you in advance to the PTA for putting this event together.
TWEETS OF THE WEEK
Each week I will post a "Tweets of the Week" section. I would encourage you to follow the school and classroom teachers so you can get a birds eye view of some of the great things our teachers are doing here at Patton!
Good Morning Patton Community,
Over the summer, the Patton office received two letters thanking the Patton students, staff, and community for their generosity toward Make A Wish and the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. The efforts to raise all of these funds are truly amazing and the compassion that our community shows is commendable. We have such an amazing student body, parent group, and staff. Thank you to Student Council for the large role you play in these endeavors. The letters are shown below and you can also download them if you'd like.
Great job Patton!
