Good Morning Patton Community,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer, filled with family experiences and memories. I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself to those I have not met. My name is Eric Larson and I am the new principal of Patton Elementary School. I feel blessed and honored to be able to partner with parents, teachers, students, and community members to create a dynamic learning environment at our school. I thought I’d share just a little about myself so you can get to know me. I grew up in Arlington Heights, near Heritage Park, and attended district 59 schools as well as Rolling Meadows High School. During the course of my undergraduate studies, I connected with an old friend from high school who after five years of dating, graciously agreed to marry me eleven years ago. Since that time we have moved back to Arlington Heights and we have two wonderful children, Eric and Anika. We live in the Westgate community and will be experiencing first hand the excitement and anticipation of our first child going to kindergarten. As I suspect many might already know, I was previously the associate principal of South Middle School. Prior to that role, I was the assistant principal at Cary Junior High School. My teaching experience has been in three different middle schools, each of which were uniquely different from one another, and has shaped me as an educator and leader. Please connect with us on social media as well. Patton now has a Facebook and Twitter page, which can be linked to in the signature of this email. My goal was to keep this brief, and I look forward to meeting you when school starts up in the fall. My door is always open if you’d like to schedule time to meet. Sincerely, Eric Larson Pictured below is my wife, Codi, and my son and daughter, Eric and Anika. Comments are closed.
