High Five Friday!
We'd like to thank Hersey gymnastics, swimming, and bowling team members for another upbeat welcoming to school this morning. They were joined by Patton staff and Officer Felser of the Arlington Heights Police Department. It's a great way to start the day.

Reminder from Your Nurse
Now that we have begun the time of year with increased head and tummy ailments, Mrs. Klancnik would like your cooperation in keeping our school as healthy as possible. Any student who has a fever or vomits must remain home for a full 24 hours. Please help us avoid the spread of germs!
Name It All!
Don't forget to write your child's name on any items that can be misplaced, including coats, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, lunchboxes, backpacks, water bottles...you get the idea! Our lost and found is filling up (again) with unlabeled items; feel free to come take a look. Thanks for your help!

Pick Up and Drop Off Information - From Eric Larson
As the weather has gotten colder, more families are dropping off and picking up their children. We need families to follow the established guidelines for pick up and drop off. Simple things, such as pulling all the way forward around the curve when picking up and dropping off make a big difference in clearing the line. Additionally, there are times when families are allowing their children to exit the vehicle in non drop off areas. Students should be exiting the vehicles once they pass the school (after the crosswalk). Little improvements go a very long way, and what may appear like small issues (not pulling up all the way, dropping off in the wrong areas, etc.) do cause delays in our process. Thank you, parents, for helping us maintain smooth and safe pick up and drop off procedures. -Eric Larson
