Hybrid Families Only...
For our teachers to plan each school day, it is essential for them to know which students will be learning remotely and which will be in person at Patton. Please email your child's teacher as well as Penny Schmit ([email protected]) if you have a child who has been attending hybrid who, for any reason, is going to be learning remotely. Please include the:
Gratitude Padlet
THANK YOU to all who have submitted entries for our Gratitude Padlet. There are over 100 entries! The Padlet will be open for families to continue to enter submissions. Remote Families Only...
We still want your student(s) to be able to check out books from Patton LMC! Watch the video below to learn how to put a book on hold, and then if your student is K-3, check their LMC Seesaw class for a post with the Google login information needed. (4th and 5th grade students should know that information). Please only put books on hold that are "in." We will put student's hold requests on the table inside the front door for pick up about 24 hours after a request is made, unless the book is unavailable because it is "in quarantine." If this happens I will email you with alternate choices. To return, just drop in the crate on the same table within 2 weeks. Enjoy! Ms. Melamed, LMC Director ([email protected])
A Note From the Nurse
I will be monitoring my voicemail and email over our winter break from school. Please reach out if your child becomes ill, tests positive for Covid-19, or if you have questions at any time during the break. Thanks for your help! Sarah Klancnik, RN (847-398-4288 ext 2, [email protected])
Keeping Winter Blues at Bay: Resources from our Social Worker
Parents and Families: I received an email from The Josselyn Center today that I found very helpful! Instead of 'lots of reading and nothing new,' this one was a bit different. I found it to have quick and easy to read points and they are not all the same as 'the ones we've all heard in the past.' Please check out the article here and reach out to me if you'd like more information like this. Also, you can go to https://josselyn.org/ for more tidbits similar to this one. I sincerely hope these help. Barb Donahue ([email protected])
