Annual Food Drive - January 22 - February 1 Beginning on Tuesday, Student Council will be sponsoring our annual food drive to help stock the pantries at Journeys from PADS to Hope in Palatine. If you have any questions please email Mr. Morkert ([email protected].) WHEN: January 22 - February 1 WHAT: Soups/stews, cold or hot cereals, coffee/tea, peanut butter/jelly, juice boxes/cans, pasta and sauces, snacks, salad dressings, vegetables, powdered milk, mac & cheese type meal kits, cookies, crackers, powdered drinks, raisins, etc! HOW: Bring items to class; they will be collected by Student Council members! * PADS cannot accept donations that require refrigeration or are packaged in glass. THANK YOU! Valentines Day Parties - February 14 Valentines parties are scheduled to begin at approximately 2:30pm on Thursday, February 14. Room reps should double check with their classroom teachers to verify the start time as there may be a few exceptions. If your child is passing out Valentines cards to other students, the cards cannot have any candy or food attached to them. Trinkets such as pencils, erasers, stickers, etc., are great alternatives as long as they are not edible. Items such as goodie bags filled with treats or candy are also not permitted. PRO-Kids Show PRO-Kids is coming back to Patton, and Tim Hannig will be performing for our students on January 24 in the afternoon. There will be a family night, on January 24 at 6:30pm where parents and kids can come together at Thomas Middle School for an evening show. We had a wonderful time last year, and we hope all families can attend! More information will be coming home on the day of the assembly!
