From District 25 Dear parents of 3rd through 5th grade students, Arlington Heights District 25 will soon begin the process of considering students for placement in advanced classes for the 2017-18 school year. There are two types of advanced classes in District 25. One is Advanced Math, which begins in 4th grade and continues through 8th grade. The other is Advanced Language Arts, which begins in 6th grade and also continues through 8th grade. All 3rd grade students are automatically screened for Advanced Math, so you do not need to request advanced math screening for your 3rd grade child. All 5th grade students are automatically screened for placement in Advanced Language Arts, so you do not need to request advanced language arts screening for your 5th grade child. Parents of students already placed in advanced math and/or language arts do not need to request screening again. To begin consideration for placement into advanced classes, parents should complete the form at this link: Parent Request for Advanced Placement. All forms are due by Wednesday, November 16. -- District 25 Advanced and Personalized Learning Comments are closed.
