Halloween Updates We are very excited about the activities and excitement that surrounds Halloween. I wanted to share with you three things items related to Halloween.
In the Cafeteria on Halloween A message from Food Services: Due to the Halloween activities on Friday October 31st, we will offer only the Zip Line lunches at the elementary schools. There will be no regular menu or snack bar on this day. We will be serving a Zip Line lunch of yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, cheese stick, and goldfish. Side vegetables will include spinach salad, and cucumber. First Grade Performance Our first graders have been working really hard for their performance on Wednesday Night. First grade families are invited to join us for the 7pm show! Tweets of the Week
Have a wonderful weekend everyone, Sincerely, Eric Larson PTA Update 10.24.14 Reflections Entries Are Due
All Reflections entries are due to the Patton office by Monday, October 27th. This year’s theme is “The world would be a better place if…” Contact chairperson Amy Kulefsky: [email protected] or 847-380-0332 for more information on contest rules and entry forms. Visit PTA.org/Reflections for more information. Traffic Tip of the Week Follow the car in front of you through the drop off line in the morning rather than pulling away from the curb as soon as your kids exit the car. Keeping one line of cars helps the line move more quickly and safely than cars merging in and out of the line. Thank you for helping keep our drop off smooth and safe! Last Call for Mini Course Chairs! PTA has not been able to find a chairperson or co-chairs for our popular after school mini course program that we hold each winter. Are you interested in helping keep this program going and growing? Do you and a friend love to plan programs for kids? If you would like to lead this program for PTA or would like more information, please contact Jenny Stanhope [email protected] or Bob Corley [email protected] for more information. If we do not find a chair or chairs by Monday, November 3rd, the mini course program will be cancelled for this year. Book Fair & Holiday Shop Need Your Help! New chairpersons are needed for the Holiday Shop and Scholastic Book Fair for the 2015-2016 school year. If interested, please consider volunteering with the current chairs before their terms expire at the end of the year. Please contact Joanna Esposito at [email protected] or Rachel Moran at [email protected] for more information. Questions or Ideas? Do you have a question or a great idea you want to share with PTA? A topic you would like to see on a PTA Meeting Agenda? Please email your ideas to Patton PTA at [email protected]. Thank you!
