These blankets are collected locally and distributed to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need of a big hug. They provide warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need with blankets created by volunteer “blanketeers” like us! Need to Bring:

Visit From Public Works On May 5th, Patton third graders had a visit from the Forestry Division of Arlington Heights Public Works Department. They learned all about the different parts of trees, heard what the Forestry Division does, and each student received a tree to take home. Best of all, it was a beautiful sunny day! E-I-E-I-Oops! Our Kindergarteners gave wonderful performance of this spin on Old MacDonald's Farm. Thanks to Miss Donovan, Mrs. Heisler, Mrs. Pullam for their help and support, and to Mr. Whitaker for his guidance. FLYERS
