Hello Patton Community, Patton has been buzzing with all kinds of activities this week. On Wednesday, our third graders performed for the school and their families, and they did tremendous! I'm always amazed at the talent and creativity of our students and staff! Below are some updates and reminders for everyone. Please be sure to take a moment to read through them all. Eric Larson ELECTION DAY - March 15 On Tuesday, March 15, there will be elections taking place at Patton all day in the gym. To maximize security, community members will be entering and exiting the building through the exterior doors of the gym. Additionally, there will be a building attendant present from the district. You may recall last year, when we were hosting an election in April, we only had indoor recess in an effort to keep all of our students safe. We will be continuing with that practice again this year. Middle School Creative Arts for 2016-17 We are excited to share the Middle School Creative Arts website with you. This resource has been created to give you more information about the Creative Arts classes that will be offered at both South and Thomas Middle Schools next year. The website can be found here. Each middle school will be sending out information on the scheduling and selection process students will follow later this Spring. If you have any questions about the Creative Arts courses, please contact Nick Filipowski at 847.228.2061 or [email protected]. Patton Lost and Found The sweatshirts, hats, gloves, water bottles, etc that have accumulated this winter will be set out on tables through conferences (March 18th). After this date, any unclaimed items will be given to charity. Feel free to stop in during school hours to take a look! Summer U Registration is Open! School District 25 provides a variety of classes for students currently in grades K-7. Summer U offers two morning times, and runs from June 13 through July 1, 2016. For the brochure, click here. Set your clocks 60 minutes ahead before bed Saturday night. The time change officially starts Sunday at 2 a.m. local time. FLYERS
