This event is open to Arlington Heights school students who are current in 5th grade. A very big thank you to all of the generous teachers, staff and families that contributed to this year’s very successful Patton Panther In-School Drawing. Patton raised over $1,000 for the District 25 Scholarship and Grant Fund. Funds raised will go to the Scholarship and Grant Fund, benefiting the education of School District 25 students through PTA scholarships and the ABC/25 Foundation Grant selection. This family-friendly event will be held Saturday, April 11th at South Middle School - 5K starts at 8 am and 1 mile at 9 am. Additional volunteers are needed to make this a successful event. Eco-Friendly Tips for Earth Month To help us celebrate Earth Month in April, students in the Patton Social Service Club created a list of the Top 10 Eco-friendly tips to help save energy. These tips have also been shared on the morning announcements with Patton students. Thank you for helping make the Patton community green! Top 10 Tips 1. Always turn off lights when done. 2. Turn off all electronics when done. 3. Turn off water when you brush your teeth. 4. Save hot water by taking short showers instead of baths. 5. Close the fridge when you get a snack. 6. Walk or ride a bike instead of taking a car. 7. Don’t leave doors to the outside open. 8. Use both sides of piece of paper before throwing it away. 9.
