Go to www.abc25.org and click on Membership! or pick up a paper membership form in the school office. Support PTA By Doing What You Already Do - Use smile.amazon.com Do you shop on Amazon.com? If so, you can support the Patton PTA every time you buy, using your existing Amazon account. Use the following link to smile.amazon.com and you will automatically be set up with “Patton PTA - Arlington Heights” as your beneficiary. After that, .5% of each purchase you make on qualifying items through smile.amazon.com will be directly deposited into the PTA account quarterly. Further information on how to use this relatively transparent service may be found here. Thank you for supporting the Patton PTA! Proper Use of Directory Information The 2015-16 Patton PTA Directory booklet is going to be delivered this week, and parents should be aware that the data in that booklet is to be used only for personal communications between students, families, and staff. We have already had two instances this year where data from past Patton Directories has been used for business purposes. The existence of our Directory hinges on our non-business policy, since the PTA is forbidden in our by-laws from advertising or otherwise promoting businesses or other groups. We’d like to keep a Directory available in the future, so please use the information within it properly. It’s a valuable book - please help keep us from needing to eliminate it. Patton Traffic Team On behalf of the Patton Traffic Team Volunteers, I would like to take a moment to recognize and to thank the Trakas Family for the treats they gave to our team of parent volunteers on Monday. We appreciate the support and are so grateful for the goodies! Traffic Team Thanks You On behalf of the Patton Traffic Team, I would like to thank everyone for their patience and cooperation at arrival and dismissal times during the first week of school. We ask for your continued patience as we settle into our drop-off and pick-up routines, especially once the weather begins to change and we are faced with more vehicle traffic. A gentle reminder to drive slowly through school zones, to ask your children to wait patiently at the end of the school day in the designated pick-up zones, and to avoid crossing through the Main Lot Drop-Off/Pick-Up Zone (please use perimeter sidewalk). Thank you!! Back to School Bash a Success! Thanks to all who attended, volunteered, and planned this year’s Back to School Bash! We had a great turnout, and a fantastic time was had by all!
