Fall Scholastic Book Fair
You are invited to the Wild West Fall Scholastic Book Fair this Monday, November 20th from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm in the Commons. Proceeds go to the Birthday Book Program which enables us to provide each student a brand new book on his or her birthday. Please help us continue this very fun tradition! We receive between 40% and 50% of what we sell in “Scholastic Dollars”. You can come any time during the day with your child/children if you want them to pick things out. We will need help with set up Friday evening and take down Monday evening. Reflections: Within Reach Thank you to all of the students that wrote, performed, took photographs, painted and drew. Your projects are amazing! Patton PTA had 13 projects advance to the Council level for the Reflections arts contest. Orville and Wilbur Wright visited Patton to demonstrate lessons in history, design, and problem solving. Thank you to the PTA Cultural Arts committee for making this presentation possible! Holiday Shop - Save the Date- December 8th The Holiday Shop allows your children to shop (on their own, or with a volunteer “elf”) for inexpensive gift items. Picture retake day is Tuesday, November 14th in the morning. Students who need to retake their school photo will need to bring their original photo envelope and pictures with them to school. All Innisbrook orders (wrapping paper, frozen foods, etc) must be picked up TODAY, Thursday, November 2nd between 3:45pm and 5pm in Patton Commons. You must PARK your car in the parking lot and enter the commons through the Patton main entrance. Questions? Students are invited to submit projects in the following project categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts. The theme for 2017-18 is “Within Reach.” Reflect on the theme. Create an original work. Be recognized. PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program that encourages artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. All entries are due tomorrow, Friday, November 3rd.
