Traffic Procedures on Field Trip Mornings We understand it can be confusing on mornings where the school day schedule might be running a bit differently than the norm. A great example is the morning of a Field Trip! Please know that no matter what is happening at the school each morning, the traffic procedures remain the same each day! Vehicles should either drop off in the curbside lane by the blacktop, not the office, or park in the lot and walk students to the blacktop using the crosswalk. The ONLY exception would be an emergency-like situation and the Traffic Team or Patton Staff would direct you accordingly. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Questions or Ideas? Do you have a question or a great idea you want to share with PTA? A topic you would like to see on a PTA Meeting Agenda? Please email your ideas to Patton PTA at [email protected]. We are always looking for help for upcoming events and committees and would love to hear from you! Thank you! -- We are collecting good condition, gently used shoes for the World Wear Project. There are collection bins near the front office. Please, no rips, tears, or stains. Thanks for your help! Click Here to support Patton PTA via smile.amazon.com. Click Here to purchase your PTA Membership. Click Here for Patton PTA Post archives. Click Here if you have non-PTA events to promote (i.e., party, garage sale etc.) and put your notice on the Patton Elementary School Parents Facebook Page. ----This language should be included on appropriate PTA flyers: ADA Statement: Individuals with disabilities should notify the principal if they require specific assistance, accommodations, or services. Please give the building principal advance notice of 24 hours. Thank you. PTA Sponsored Event: Notice: This event is solely sponsored by the PTA. School staff might not be present and have no responsibility for the event. Please direct all inquiries or concerns to the sponsoring PTA. Patton Pool Party this Saturday, April 14th

We realize many parents/grandparents/caregivers will want to enjoy this nice weather and play on the playground after school. Please understand that all traffic procedures are still in place regardless of weather. If you want to stay after and play at the playground, you must park in a parking spot or legally park on the surrounding streets and walk in. If you are in the curbside pickup line, you may not exit your vehicle for any reason. A gentle reminder that children should not be on the playground without a parent/grandparent/caregiver physically with them. Patton staff will leave the blacktop area by 3:45 p.m. and at that time all students not picked up should be in the office. It is not the responsibility of any Traffic Team volunteer to be looking for students who are unaccounted for on the playground. Thank you for respecting that Traffic Team volunteers are parents also and would like to end their shift on time with all students safe and accounted for! Questions or Ideas? Do you have a question or a great idea you want to share with PTA? A topic you would like to see on a PTA Meeting Agenda? Please email your ideas to Patton PTA at [email protected].
