Please join us for our next PTA meeting which will be held at 9:15 am on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. School Pictures- Monday, October 1st Picture day is this Monday. Please complete the form and send back to school along with cash or check. Exact amounts are required and one separate form must be completed for each child. Late order envelopes will not be accepted. You can also order online and pay with a credit card. To order pictures online, go to www.ordercp.com and enter the school code: 10025401. Please remember, it is NOT recommended to wear green given the background used when taking pictures. If you have any questions please send an email to [email protected]. 1st-3rd Grade Running Club Attention all 1st-3rd Graders! It’s time for Running Club! Lets have some fun with our friends with running, relay races and obstacle challenges! Running club will include 4 sessions each Thursday from 3:35-4:30 beginning Sept 27th. Check your backpack for your permission slip. Please return your permission slip to your student’s teacher or the front office. Questions, email Kristy Seifert [email protected]. School Yearbooks - Preorder Discount Yearbooks are available to preorder. If you order by this Sunday, Sept 30th you will receive 15% off. Orders placed in October will be 10% off. To order yearbooks go to www.treering.com and click Buy Yearbook in the top right corner. You can also download the TreeRing App from the App store for iPhone/iPad. If using the App you can enter school code: 1014110707661184 for new users or use your existing log-in. Any questions please email [email protected]. Pumpkin Patch Pumpkin patch is rapidly approaching! It will be held on Friday, October 12th from 3:35-5:00 pm. Order forms were sent home last week via backpack mail to pre-order your Morkes donuts and caramel apples. Don’t miss out! ALL ORDERS DUE on or before Wednesday, October 3rd. Late orders cannot be accepted. New Patton Panther Car Magnets Patton PTA has newly designed Patton Car Magnets available for the first time. If you would like to purchase one for $5, please send the money in an envelope to school marked PTA Car Magnet with your child’s name or you can contact Larissa Laufenberg at [email protected]. They make great refrigerator magnets too! Click here to see the new look. PTA Membership In previous years, all PTA members received paper PTA Membership cards sent home via backpack mail. This year you should have received an email from “Patton PTA Dues” with a subject line of “Receipt of Parent/Guardian Dues” which will contain a link that will allow you to print off your PTA membership card. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected]. Heroes Around Me - Participate in PTA Reflections Program Is your child a creative writer? Does your child enjoy telling stories? Do they like to take videos or photographs? What about their many other talents such as drawing, painting, singing or dance? The theme for 2018-19 is Heroes Around Me. Reflect on the theme. Create an original work. Be recognized. PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program that encourages artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students have the opportunity to submit projects in the following project categories -Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts. Due Date for entries is Friday, November 2nd. If your student would like to participate please contact Larissa Laufenberg [email protected] for contest rules and entry forms. Questions or Ideas?
