Fall Scholastic Book Fair
Thank you to all the people who came out to support the Scholastic Book Fair on Thursday, October 18th and Friday, October 19th. We appreciate all of you who volunteered your time with set up, take down, cashiering and all of you who supported the book fair through your purchases Attention Room Reps The Halloween parade will begin at approximately 1:30pm and conclude by 2:00pm. Most Halloween parties will go from 2:00-3:00pm but, as Room Reps, you should check in with your classroom teachers as there may be some variance with this. Also, just a reminder that pumpkins are allowed to be used but they are not to be eaten. Traffic Team Information on Halloween lunchtime pick up and drop off will be coming out in a separate email. New Stress Free Fundraiser Periodically, our Patton PTA asks for participation in fundraising to support our many programs for students and families at our school. We take pride in being able to offer such a wide variety of fun after school events, bring in special guests and showcase unique performers. This fall, as you may have read in the PTA meeting minutes, we chose to not ask you to sell cookies, frozen pizzas, wrapping paper, magazines, cooking utensils, etc. as we had done in past years. Instead, this is our big fall fundraiser. The stress free fundraiser! Each year, we need to raise approximately $10,000 for PTA programs. With your help this fall we are asking for a donation of approximately $25 per family to meet our goal. Please look for a form coming home in backpacks this week. Thank you! School Pictures and Retakes Pictures have been sent home with your child. If you have any questions about your order please email [email protected]. Picture retakes are on Tuesday, November 13th. If your child will be getting retakes please send the picture packet back with them on that day. Dine and Share Thank you to everyone that purchased meals at CPK for our dine and share last week. On a typical Wednesday we see just over 150 cars during that time. Great job panthers. Let’s help our kids by setting good examples and use our crosswalks in the parking lot. Please remember to only pick up and drop off at the blacktop area only; long delays happen if pick ups and drop off happen near the office. If your child needs extra assistance getting in or out of the car, please park and walk your child to the blacktop.
