This is an all-new list for next year, so please sign up even if you’ve done so in the past. Come on and join the fun! The Patton PTA introduced the online Directory Spot app to our membership three years ago, and it’s been very successful. The app may be updated by members throughout the year, providing the most current information possible to our users. Members may also choose to print their own up-to-date copy of the directory at any time by using the Download PDF button and printing the resulting document at home. Our printed PTA Directory has become obsolete, and will be discontinued this coming fall. Please take time and look into the Directory Spot app (www.directoryspot.net) if you have yet to use the program, and see how easy it is to download and print the data. Please direct questions or comments to [email protected]. Legislation - Lack of Illinois State Budget Affecting Schools The Illinois General Assembly has until Tuesday, May 31st to pass the state budget with a simple majority. Our politicians in Springfield are fighting against each other, and not for the best interest of the state. Without a budget, many school districts run the risk of not being able to open their doors come August. Please visit this link, where you can support the IL PTA and send a quick note to encourage the members of the GA to vote to balance this budget. The process takes seconds, the effects will be everlasting. Questions or Ideas? Do you have a question or a great idea you want to share with PTA? A topic you would like to see on a PTA Meeting Agenda? Please email your ideas to Patton PTA at [email protected].
