Pumpkin Patch - Apple & Donut Orders due 10/10
Pumpkin patch is rapidly approaching! It will be held on Friday, October 18th from 3:35-5:00 pm.This year all donut and apple orders will be done electronically. An email with an order form and instructions on how to pay were emailed out on 9/26. We will NOT be sending order forms home through backpack mail. Don’t miss out! All orders are due on or before Wednesday, October 10th at 5pm. Late orders cannot be accepted. Orders will be ready for pickup at the Pumpkin Patch event on 10/18. Our first Parent Trivia Night is just over a month away on Saturday, November 2nd! Registration will begin this Sunday 10/6. Register early, space is limited. Reflections- Look Within - Participate in PTA Reflections Program Is your child a creative writer? Does your child enjoy telling stories? Do they like to take videos or photographs? What about their many other talents such as drawing, painting, singing or dance? The theme for 2019-20 is Look Within. Reflect on the theme. Create an original work. Be recognized. PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program that encourages artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students have the opportunity to submit projects in the following project categories - Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts. Book Fair Our first Book Fair of the year will be held during conferences on Thursday, October 23rd from 9am-8pm and Friday, October 24th from 9am-12pm. More details to come! Help Wanted: Photo Sharing Committee Chair Do you like photography or enjoy organizing photos? We are in need of a Photo Committee Chair. Duties include organizing photos submitted by class photographers, sharing class photo folders with parents, working with the Yearbook Committee and using Google photos to complete the work. If you are interested or would like more details, please email [email protected] Join the Mini Course Committee! Each winter, we offer a diverse selection of classes to students immediately after school, ranging from chocolate-making to pottery, Lego-building to mad science and beyond. Our committee members work together on varying aspects of bringing the program to fruition, from communicating with vendors to coordinating parent volunteers. If you’re interested in getting to know other Patton parents, bringing quality enrichment programming to the school, or just have a knack for organization, logistics, and communication, we’d love to have you join our committee!
