If you did not receive one, there are plenty of extras in the office. Picture Day is Monday, October 2nd. If you wish to order pictures, please complete your order by this date. You may complete your order on-line or complete the order envelope and return it with payment to the school. On-line orders will be shipped to the school. PTA Meeting is Tuesday, October 3rd Everyone is welcome at our monthly PTA meeting. October’s meeting is at 9:15am on Tuesday, October 3rd in the Commons. Our meetings take less than an hour, and younger children are welcome. Please join us! Walk or Bike to School on Wednesday, October 4th Wednesday, October 4th is National Walk to School Day. We are encouraging as many Patton students as possible to walk (or bike!) to school on Wednesday. More than 3200 schools across the country will be participating. Details are available at www.walkbiketoschool.org Chipotle Dine and Share, October 4th Why cook dinner? Join other Patton families at Chipotle (338 E. Rand Rd.) on Wednesday, October 4th from 4 pm - 8 pm for our first Dine and Share of the year. Bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Patton PTA. This Chipotle location is on Rand, near Arlington Heights Road, by Office Depot and Jewel. 1st, 2nd, 3rd Grade Running Club Running Club for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade begins Wednesday, October 4th. Reminders will be sent to volunteers a few days prior as a reminder. Pumpkin Patch Join us on Friday, October 13th from 3:35-5 pm on the school blacktop to celebrate everything fall. There will be caramel apples, apple cider donuts, apple juice, pumpkins and baked goods for sale. Please remember to PRE-ORDER your apples and donuts using this form so they will be ready for pick up at the event. Orders are due by Wednesday, October 4th. Does your child enjoy telling stories? Do they like to take videos or photographs? What about their many other talents such as drawing, painting, singing or dance? The theme for 2017-18 is Within Reach. Reflect on the theme. Create an original work. Be recognized. PTA Reflections is a nationally acclaimed student recognition program that encourages artistic creativity in the classroom and at home. Students have the opportunity to submit projects in the following project categories - Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts. All entries are due Friday, November 3rd.
