4th and 5th Grade Running Club - Spring Session
Are you interested in joining a club focused on FUN and FITNESS? If so, join Running Club! Running club meets on Wednesdays in April from 3:45-4:30pm (April 3, 10, 17, 24). Each session will begin with a warm-up, 30 minutes of running at your own pace, strength & conditioning. The wonderful Mrs. Goumas will sponsor the club yet again this year. Thank you, Mrs. Goumas! Please note: The club will not meet if it is raining. Parent volunteers are VITAL to the success as they provide a safe running path. Please sign up to volunteer for at least one session if possible. South PTA is proud to host Jennifer Zielinski, M.A, N.C.C, L.C.P.C. from F.A.I.R. Counseling, Inc. (Families and Adolescents In Recovery) who will give a Free Parent Presentation on Preteen/Teen Anxiety- Thursday, April 11th at 7:00pm in South Middle School’s Multi-Purpose Room. Learn about hidden signs of anxiety, coping tips, and treatment options, as well as ask questions from the floor. Presentation will be primarily geared towards parents of 5th-8thgraders. Arlington Heights Council of PTAs-Officer Nominations Arlington Heights Council of PTAs (AHCPTA) consists of all nine (9) D25 School PTAs coming together for the purpose of conference, leadership training, and support.
