TONIGHT!! PTA Dine & Share at Garibaldi’s- March 17th
Ditch the dishes and take the family out on the town tonight, Thursday, March 17th from 5-8pm at Garibaldi’s! A whopping 20% of all proceeds goes to the Patton PTA to help us fund our programs for your students. What a great way to start your spring break! Social Service BAKE SALE The Social Service Club is planning to put a FREE LITTLE LIBRARY in the Patton School neighborhood and we need to raise funds to buy a kit!! In order to raise money the Social Service club along with Mrs Melamed are going to be hosting a Bake Sale at Patton during Parent/Teacher Conferences! Please stop by and buy baked goods from the social service club on Thursday or Friday. If you would like to learn what a Free Little Library is please see link http://littlefreelibrary.org Afternoon Traffic and Inclement Weather With spring and early summer approaching, we expect occasional severe weather conditions. Should this occur around Patton School at or near dismissal time, there is a possibility that the school will delay dismissal until conditions are deemed safe. In that case, the school will do its best to get a message to waiting parents. However, in the event of a power loss, the messaging system will be disabled. Parents should remain with their vehicles and wait for students to be dismissed when it is safe. The 5th grade graduation photos were distributed to those who ordered a picture unless you submitted your order form late. The late orders will be ready and distributed after Spring Break. Our Next PTA Meeting is Tuesday, April 12th in the LMC We’ll be electing our executives, forming our Audit and Excess Funds Committees, and heading out afterward for some informal non-PTA talk! Just Move it! Challenge Pre-Registration Deadline Thursday, March 31st! The Arlington Heights Council of PTAs and ABC/25 Foundation invite runners and walkers of ALL ages and abilities to participate in a 5k and 1 mile Run/Walk on April 16th that combines fitness and fun for the entire family! Entry fees increase after Thursday March 31st and only participants who register by this date will be guaranteed a race t-shirt in their school color and size. Please click here for more information. Don’t want to run or walk? Volunteer! We need over 75 volunteers to make race day successful. You can help and still be a part of the fun! ALL Levels of walkers and runners are invited to Runner’s High ‘n Tri for FREE training sessions. Come to one or as many sessions as you’d like.
