The kids voted and the movie shown will be Goosebumps. Please see flyer for more details. Please feel free to forward this information to any other families you know who will be joining us in the fall! 5th grade graduation photo The 5th grade graduation photo (taken as an entire grade) will be taken on Club photo day Wednesday, March 2 in the morning. Order forms for the 5th grade photo will be distributed this week. If you wish to order a picture, simply return the completed order form with payment to your child’s teacher by March 1st. PTA Committee Highlight - Directory Each year the Patton PTA provides its members with a student directory to help families remain in contact with each other during the year. 2015-16 was the final year for the official printed directory, with future releases being made through our online app Directory Spot. App users may choose to export or print the directory data at home if they desire a hard copy. The Directory Committee collects family data from the Patton front office as soon as students’ teacher assignments have been announced (late August). This data must then be formatted for upload to the app. Therefore the Chairperson should be technically savvy and have good working knowledge of spreadsheets and data manipulation. Periodically throughout the year the Chairperson will collect updates to family data and make changes to the app database. If you are interested in this position, please email [email protected] to let us know. 5th Annual Just Move it! Challenge Pre-Registration Deadline Thursday, March 31st! The Arlington Heights Council of PTAs and ABC/25 Foundation invite runners and walkers of ALL ages and abilities to participate in a 5k and 1 mile Run/Walk on April 16th that combines fitness and fun for the entire family! Entry fees increase after Thursday March 31st and only participants who register by this date will be guaranteed a race t-shirt in their school color and size. **Get out of state family involved this year!** New this year we are offering a Virtual Runner option. Encourage your friends and family from out of state to sign up for the race. We will mail them a bib and race t-shirt and they can run a 5k or 1 mile in their own home town! Let’s see how many different states we can get to run the Just Move It! Challenge with us this year! Don’t want to run or walk? Volunteer! We need over 75 volunteers to make race day successful.
