Photography Committee-Parent Permissioning for Google Classroom Photos As part of its ongoing efforts to put together the best possible yearbook for the 2018-2019 Patton school year, the PTA is working hard to collect photos and organize them using Google Photos. With that in mind, we want to invite any parents or families that have photos of any Patton student(s) or event(s) to submit those photos to the [email protected] email address. If you do submit photos, please help us identify the right folder to place them in by putting the following information in the email subject line: (1) grade (K - 5), (2) teacher's name, and (3) a general description of the photos you are submitting. If you took photos of your child's class Halloween party and he or she is in Ms. Leigh's 3rd grade class, the email subject line would say "3rd Grade - Ms. Leigh - Halloween Party". If you are submitting photos for an event such as one of the great events put on each year by the PTA, the subject line should just briefly describe what event the photos are of. The more families that we have submitting photos, the more we will have to work with for the yearbook, so thank you in advance for anyone willing to take the time to send in what they have. A benefit of using Google Photos is that we now have the ability to share class specific albums with parents of children in those classes. If you would like access to the photos for your child's classroom, please just follow the link below to a short Google Form and enter the requested information to let us know that you would like access to the album. Once we verify that you have a child in the requested class, we will send you a link that invites you to view the album. As new photos are submitted throughout the remainder of this school year, the album will continually update and you can login to see what is happening in your child's classroom. Please note that in requesting album access, you are also agreeing not to post any of the photos on any social media platform. The Google Form can be found here. If you have any questions about the PTA's use of Google Photos or anything set forth above, please feel free to email Matt Campobasso at [email protected].
