Good Afternoon Patton Community, I hope all of you have had a great week. To those who joined us for Spectacular Specials Night, we hope you had a wonderful time. With parent/teacher conferences coming up in the very near future, I wanted to share an article from the Huffington Post about how have a meaningful conference. Please click here for the article. Students also had a great experience at our Veterans' Day Assembly. Our veterans were so touched by the kindness of our students. To read more about the assembly, click here. Kindness Below is a video that was very popular a few years ago. For educators who seek professional development in social media, many have noticed that there has been a big push and emphasis on the concept of kindness. Below is a moving video called the Kindness Boomerang. The video is about 5-6 minutes long and it never hurts to have conversations about being kind with one another with our children. Don't Forget Your Coat! And Hat, and Mittens... Winter has arrived; please have your child dress appropriately for the colder weather, including hats, gloves and boots when necessary. You can help immensely by saying your goodbyes on the drive to school and having your children, backpacks on laps, ready to exit the vehicle as soon as it's your turn in the drop off zone. If you feel that this may be difficult for your family to do, please pull into a parking space and take as much time as you may need. Questions or Ideas? Do you have a question or a great idea you want to share with PTA? A topic you would like to see on a PTA Meeting Agenda? Please email your ideas to Patton PTA at [email protected].
